Sovereignty assessment
Three weeks. One report. A reasoned yes or no to leaving your US cloud, and what it costs to do it.
Who it is for
Companies on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud under NIS2 or DORA, or with an AI programme that has stalled on the question of where data may live. Typically 50 to 5,000 employees, with an IT team that knows its estate but has no time to cost an alternative.
What we look at
- Inventory of workloads and data: what runs, where, and who depends on it
- Jurisdiction and supervisory requirements: what NIS2, DORA or your customers’ vendor requirements actually say about your setup
- Architectural seams and lock-in: where the estate can be divided, and which proprietary services hold it in place
- Costs today against a European estimate, calculated on your own figures
- AI readiness: whether your data can carry agents, and on which infrastructure
What you get
- A recommendation: go or no-go, with the reasoning written so it can be shown to the supervisor and the board
- A target landscape: provider, regions, what is managed, what you run yourselves
- A phased plan, context by context, with a way back at every step
- A three-year cost comparison
- A risk register
- An exit plan in the format DORA asks for
Delivered in a workshop with your architects, not as a PDF in an inbox.

What happens afterwards
A scoped migration offer, context by context, as described under How we move you.
What you build from now on is built as Portable architecture, so the move gets smaller every time you return to the question.
You stay with the hyperscaler, and we turn the exit plan into code and run the rehearsed move once a year. That is the answer for the largest.
The report says which of the three. And the answer can be nothing: that you stay where you are without buying more from us. We write that sentence down before we begin.
How to book
Write to Martin with two lines about your estate and what has raised the question. You get a reply within one working day with a proposal for a first 30-minute call.
